he's confused at first, to say the least. he turns off the tap water and looks over to you but your hands reach him before he gets to. they're cold, your hands, he notes at first (outloud may I add, jolting his head back but instinctively returning to your hold)

RIWOO

its the sound of groaning, clothing ruffling, and sanghyeok's silent protests for you to help him that makes you reach upward to catch his face in between your hands. his lower lip jolts forward as he redirects your attention to his tie, both ends on either side of his chest

but perhaps he was truly better off on his own, boring his eyes into your own as he watches you (perfectly, might i add) tie the knot around his neck successfully — to any passerby they would've thought that you were stars themselves for the man in front of you in glasses and skinned kissed in constellations looks at you like you've done just so and it's so hard to not avoid his gaze, everytime you peek up he's staring directly at you with that annoying half grin

you cant help but reach for his face again once youre done, squishing his cheeks between your hands and before you know it sanghyeok is tilting his head enough to nuzzle your nose, before leaning down to capture your lips in his nose — and he feels you smile almost instantly

JAEHYUN

he's completely exhausted but his brain keeps running, eyes burning holes into space, his hair practically ran through by his hands. and he won't stop shaking his leg and his chest keeps rising and falling and—

his eyes finally meets your soft gaze, the concern all over your face the way the pads of your thumb grazes over his skin gently and the space between his brows frown, his eyes seem to gloss a bit more and soon his bottom lip is quivering in your hold

"what happened to my baby," you finally say, barely above a whisper. and ah, there it is —the tears finally cloud his vision and you brush his long hair out of the way caressing his face just as he parts his lips to speak but a broken sob leaves him instead. so you bring him closer to press your lips against his forehead and he finds himself leaning even more into your warmth (myung jaehyun never wants to leave)

TAESAN

doesn't catch the mischief in your eyes, too busy picking at his food in front of him (and complaining about the boys), to notice the way the gears are cranking in your head, the way your eyes haven't really left him.

when you reach over to his side, dongmin doesn't think much of it. to be fair, he's so used to not bending over to pick something off him or to check something quickly on his phone. so imagine his surprise when your hands leave your folded arms, and not reach for his phone, but to his face instead. eyes big and confused, frantically searching for some sort of explanation in your recent action, but the look you give him is too soft and the way your eyes seem to reflect the stars. so obviously, han dongmin only reacts in the most nonchalant way possible — he hiccups.

and it's impossible to hold back the laugh that spills from your lips, your hands still pressed against his cheeks, pulling him closer to your own face as you coo and he hiccups again. and when the words i love you leave you in a giggled whisper his ears start to color match the broth in front of him.

LEEHAN

immediately smiles into your hands. you didn't mean to wake him up, just trying to brush hair away from his face so it doesn't become too much of a bother in his sleep

and soon he stirs awake at the feeling of your hands, the gentleness of your fingertips and the warmth of your skin stirring him awake. his eyes are slow to open and he's blinking, trying to make out if the figure is really you (of course it is). you mumble a low m'sorry to him, brushing the remaining hair sticking to his hair and soothing over his cheeks with your thumb

leehan practically grins; his eyes shining despite the darkness of the room, dimples forming on his cheeks when his sleepy gaze eventually meets yours — honestly if this was how he was going to be woken up he may really sleep forever — leans into your hand like a cat and you can't help but coo and squish his cheeks even further (he rasps a giggle and you award it with a kiss to his lips)

WOONHAK

similarly to the others, woonhak can't help but melt into your hold like puddy. loves it when you do this — and it's often, because he enjoys the feeling of being taken care of (and the way you lean in and kiss him) despite being used to his members coddling him, he prefers it when you do it — there is something very gentle with the way you call his name

loves it even more when the two of you are outside just after he bids his basketball court friends goodbye to see you waiting for him by the bleachers — jogs up to you with grin on his face, chest heaving and sweat trinkling down his body ("did i do good?" leaves him first as he sits down, trying to catch his breath but his gaze never leaves you. (he really wants that answer)

and you smile, shifting yourself to stand in-between his legs and cup his sweaty face in your hands — and you the immediate moment when he falters, where his breath gets caught in his throat and he starts coughing. and you don't do anything to stop the laughter that falls out of you and when you stumble away he pulls you back so he can hold your hands firm against his face (he'll get sulky if he doesn't get a you did good kiss)
