I know I tend to lean more on āHordak is a simp! Heās in love with his wife! Look at him, heās so in enamored!ā but I really donāt want to just skip over how Entrapta is 100% in love too.
She found someone who is kind and respectful and understanding to her. Who doesnāt grab her and tell her to talk like a normal person or not to run off. Who will listen and do his best to comprehend what she is saying. Who adores her quirks and differences and would never want her to change to be more like the other princesses.
Heās brilliant and understanding and actually sees her, not a version of her created in his head. She definitely got a crush on him first.
I mean. In like their second meeting he gave her a runestone (the Black Garnet). I donāt even blame her.
She feels safe by his side, and can look into his eyes without feeling bothered. You can watch her slowly be able to act calmer beside him because she feels comfortable. Not in a bad way, sheās still very much herself, but she softens around him. It is her feeling relaxed and wanted to be there to soothe him and itās beautiful. She loves him.
And when Prime came, when he brought thousands of billions of clones that looked like Hordak and sounded like Hordak, she didnāt care. If she wanted to, it would have been extremely easy (and much less effort) to replace him. To grab a random clone and have him and he couldāve been just like Hordak, only less defective and maybe even kinder.
She doesnāt give up on him, either.
Even when heās lost in space with no memory, Entrapta trusts that he will find her, that they will find each other. She searches through thousands of clones for the only one that sheāll ever really see.
And she does recognize him, somehow, in that scene (before Swift Wind ruins everything). Entrapta looks at this man who looks exactly like the rest of them and knows who he is.
The positive language she speaks with him in is so heartwarming to me. āI knew you wouldā āI knew you couldā. Entrapta believes in him because she knows that he is strong and brave and better than Prime.
And the way she runs into his arms at the end because sheās waited so long to hold him again and finally she can *screaming into a pillow*
I know I tend to (and will continue to) lean towards talking about Hordak being a simp, but donāt believe even for a second that Entrapta isnāt equally enamored with him.
I regularly imagine that Scorpia and Entrapta hung out every few days in the Fright Zone and just giggled and whispered about Catra and Hordak respectively. Just imagine a very blushed Entrapta putting down her mask and being like āshut upppppp heās so cuteeeeā as Scorpia is out loud actively planning the wedding. Sheās their #1 shipper.
