“Detective Skye!”  Ema slowly looks up from her phone, narrowing her eyes as Prosecutor Gavin dodges an officer to squeeze into the alleyway she’s hidden herself in. Technically, she’s supposed to be working right now. And if he says anything about that, she’s going to upend her lukewarm coffee on his head.  But Klavier doesn’t say anything. He beams at her in a way that makes her stand up straighter. Something about it reminds her of his brother. She only feels a little bit bad for thinking that, which is more than she could’ve said a few months ago.  “What do you want?” Ema asks. Her gaze darts down to her phone as it buzzes in her hands. It’s an excited message from Trucy. She’ll actually have to reply to that one later.  “Are you busy on Tuesday night?”
