Started dancing in the mornings while I make coffee again. I’ll be alright

This is what I want the history to say: I entered love with eyes like a child. I opened my heart and slipped away gracefully when time pulled me forward. I grieved, but not for too long. I lost myself in school, spent late nights poring over readings that made me feel connected to something greater. I felt the sun on my face and wandered the mountains alone. I treated myself with great care, nursed my body like a mother. And I walked out into the next clear day, eyes like a child

devastating that you can live somewhere and then move away and someone else moves in and they live there and you don’t live there anymore but you lived there once

So much of this worldly experience is out of our hands but we can choose to be generous w our love and curious abt life and find pleasure and amusement and refuge in the patterns of our every day and support each other and care for our world and meet even those we don’t know w grace and patience and consideration and that these little qualities are in our control is not to be forgotten

mental illness made me so desperate for joy that i forgot it was this simple… feeling the ocean against your skin… a really good guitar riff… sun on your back… holding the door for a stranger… a cold shower on a hot day…….. the world is like a cradle and i am just a little baby. eyes wide open there is so much to see

Ummm my life is beautiful and I am loved and I can be skittish and restless and somber and lonely but I am never without hope when within me I carry what magnetizes and emphasizes peace and pleasure
