Hello everyone,
It is a dark time. Our country has by and large failed all of its citizens that aren’t straight, white, cisgender, Christian males. I don’t know about all of you, but I am feeling very afraid right now, both for myself and for the lives of all who will be affected. This isn’t just about policies that could possibly be instated, but also about the fact that half of the U.S. deems it appropriate to completely disregard the rights and safety of those who aren’t like them. I am terrified.
But we can’t let the fear rule us. Take care of yourselves, and of each other. Show kindness in a country founded on hate. This will not destroy us
I’m going to try and post positive trans related stuff (like the trans boy perks stuff) on this blog in the coming days, even if they aren’t up to my personal standards of adequacy (aka they will likely be in pencil/ink).
I want you all to know that I am here. I am a friend, and I want to help. If any of you need anything, please let me know. I love you all.
