Al di là del risultato, noi siamo molto contenti. Contenti di avervi visto poco, perché eravate tanti. Contenti per le tredici squadre che hanno superato la prova, e per le altre dieci che comunque dai magari l'anno prossimo. Contenti per i veterani col cappello e per le tante facce nuove, per le donne, gli immigrati e i bambini che in ogni caso fanno sempre pena.
Contenti perché siete stati un bellissimo spettacolo, di notte e sotto la pioggia in particolare. Ci avete fatto ridere e godere, e neanche troppo disperare, e non possiamo che dirvi un enorme grazie. Se ci sarete ancora, una, dieci, cento di queste Transappenniniche: sarà sempre un piacere.
