Omegaverse has always been fascinating to me, in a queer way. There have been some coins over the years related to it, but nothing which felt like a proper system with a full extent if identity. This blog is here to change that!

You believe omegaverse cannot be separated from or identified with outside of kink.

In most omegaverse universes, dynamic is something that presents as part of puberty rather than at birth, unless it changes the genitalia. Thus "dynamic assigned at birth" doesn't make much sense. This is an equivalent.

I’ve just been using Rho so far b/c it feels sort of like being secondary-gender Bigender to me but I’m not sure if I’m just misreading what being Rho/Transrho covers?

Is there also a combined term for total non-conformance across the board re: dynamic/pheromones/etc.? I know Dynaqueer was coined and I love it, but I was just wondering if there was anything more specific! Tysm for your time and for making all of these great flags/terms!

I could coin something, though it would probably be off the letters for now. Beota maybe? Of course you can also just just both Beta and Iota ^^

Rho is the umbrella term for any non-trinary identity, so using it depends on if you see your dynamic as non-trinary or not. Much like real-world intersex, iota is not inherently non-trinary, and someone who is bidynamic isn't necessarily non-trinary either (rather, they may see themselves as multitrinary).

Legally Assigned Dynamics are an equivalent to Assigned Genders At Birth for dynamics. They are not (always) assigned at birth due to the fact most dynamics present at puberty, but are often still assigned without the consent or input of the person involved. Omegaverse authorities often simply add it to their information after catching a whiff, leading to just as many improper and uncomfortable situations as AGAB.
