When do you say enough is enough? For me enough is too long. I'll give you every chance in the world and forgive you endlessly. Be blind to the lies all for the sake of love. It's only after I've been abused endlessly, that I say enough. After an impossible amount of energy, I will find the strength to stand up, walk tall, and wear my scars proudly. Because you never broke me entirely Bent me to your will. There were days, where you managed to exhert control over me, and on many that I let you. But that was before I saw the truth. How you'll do anything to get your way. How you'll slander in order to come off looking like a victim. I'm not fooled by you. I'm not charmed by you. I was there for the real you. In both senses of the phrase. And it turned out the real you was a deceitful self absorbed child. I cried endless nights, through the screaming and being told little things like "Just develop some fucking coping mechanisms." I wish I would have seen it before. Then maybe... I wouldn't have had to say. "Enough"
