hello & goodbye [Leijiverse RP; closed]
All of this sounded entirely out of her league; she hadnât a clue about anything related to botany! But listening to him chatter on about what he was doing, and whyâŚSkye looked at the young man intently. Or was he as young as she thought? That patch covering his eye and the scar upon his face didnât suit him somehow. It clashed against the youthful exuberance he showed for his work.

She had about the same amount of training as he did when he first joined the Arcadia, though in different fields. His crash course in being a soldier left much to be desired for tactics, navigations, command skillsâŚEverything that wasnât shooting, really. The joke flew over his head by miles. âTaking care of plants is like having dozens of kids all at once, I think. Never had kids, actually. But the captain doesnât like for me to hang out in here all the time. I have apprentice things to do and whatnot.â He waved his hand as though to brush the responsibilities away.
âFood first though.â He hoped his stomach wasnât about to start growling as it remembered how long ago it had eaten last.
