Gosh, what kind of headmaster would I be if I just went and died on my B E L O V E D students~?! ” He lilts, beads of faux sweat dripping down, as mock concern cascades from his voice box. You could be certain that this despair-monger cared not for his own health, for he’d just pop up in a new body. And as for Molly’s health... well... Monokuma isn’t known to be the most empathetic of bears.

---- “ Who are you calling ugly?! Do you know how many plush companies would KILL to have my face on their brand? I’ve got worldwide appeal, y’know! I bet you don’t even know how to appeal to more than 2 people in this whole school! ”

      Contrary to his tone and the red glow emanating from his face that signified rage, Monokuma couldn’t be further from mad. No, if anything, he was actually reveling in HER reaction, getting so heated and defensive. From more reserved students, that rarely happened, so he considered it the fruits of despair - that is to say, a treat he oh-so-savored.

      Posing somewhat ridiculously, he snickered in quite the condescending manner, looking at Wendy with those odd eyes of his.

—- “ Huuuuh? What’s the matter, Kuwata? My illustrious gymnasium not good enough for you or somethin’? It’s WAAAAAY better than going outside! I mean, there’s a stage and bleachers and everything! ”

—- “ No respect at all, so sad…! Y’know, I don’t have to provide for any of you at all! But out of the good of my wild heart, I found a way…! But now all I’m hearin’ is ‘I wanna go outside, Mr. Monokuma-sensei! Let me outside!’ It really stings, y’know? ”

      Slowly, his expression creaks upward, red eye glowing warmly as he looks toward Leon. A low cackle rises from his throat and spills out, twisted grin curling at the tip with sadistic intent.

---- “ You look a little too happy! It can’t be ‘cuz of the homework, right? It’s gotta be ‘cuz you’re smitten by my adorable little face! And my two-toned curves! Am I hitting the nail right on it’s big, ugly head, you sicko?! ”

      For someone who maintained that the academy had a ‘great reputation’ that they mustn’t tarnish, Monokuma sure liked to accuse students of having lewd thoughts...

---- “ I think i’ll double the homework you guys get. How’s that sound, huh? You’re free to leave your COMPLAINTS in my mailbox. ”

“But isn’t it better when a game has more twists and turns? 

You have no problem with it, do you Monokuma? It’s more FUN for both of us. ” 

Sure, the game was a tad rigged, given how the odds were against them, leaving Monokuma and the Mastermind in a much better place than they were, but he always won the games he played. This was just another game, and he would do all he had to in order to complete it. 

“I won’t let something like predetermined odds bother me.

It’s just one, minor little detail. 

There’s still a chance that I’m the one with the upperhand here, isn’t there?” 

Or that he would have it in due time.

He would win, he would win, he would win. 

Kokichi wasn’t carefully investigating, watching over Monokuma and the others, and inspecting the rules for loopholes for absolutely no reason. There was use for everything here. If he could find anything to use to his advantage, the odds became better. They could be out of this killing game eventually. 

---- “ Well, duh! Of course a game is better when it’s a little unpredictable, right? Soooooo, I guess I’ll ask you this, Ouma! Do you know what’s gonna happen next? Puhuhuhuhu. ”

      Tone light as air, Monokuma twirled around, pointing right at Ouma with a nubby paw once he asked that question. No matter what was in front of him, be it an annoying detective, an annoying robot, or an annoying liar, he still derived great pleasure from toying with these students. For at the end of the day, he was the one in the throne, while his precious students were the peasants wallowing in despair in the slums. Such a thought caused his crescent grin to form into a full-on sneer, low chuckles rumbling in his ‘throat’.

│⚙️│ “Egg dance…?” Oh boy, this was just getting more and more confusing.

“Wait, what does that have to do with activities planned on Sunday? How does any of what you have described correlate to my original question? High-school students aren’t going around and making…”

“…” Uh-oh, has he finally put two and two together?

---- “ Hm? What’s with that ghastly look on your face, huh? Have you finally fallen for how cute I am?! ”

│⚙️│ “Ah-!” Of course, that robot bear had strange ways of getting into rooms without logical reason…

“If I’m understanding this correctly, I cannot make plans on a Sunday now? What else am I supposed to do with my day?” Oh dear, Keebs, you really do have no idea, do you? “Regardless, I do understand what you are saying…”

“And how do you know I’m not letting you believe all of that?”

“Do you really think that the Ultimate Supreme Leader would be dethroned so easily? Don’t worry, Monokuma, this won’t be boring.”

---- “ Weeeeeeell, to put it - simp-lyyyy, you’re more in the dark about all this than I’ll EVER be! It’s like we’re playing poker, and I can see your hand, but you can’t see mine! ”

      Snickering, the corner of Monokuma’s crooked mouth twists upward, a wretched grin that many others would hate the mere sight of. But, Ouma was different. Annoyingly different, admittedly. But, that didn’t mean their lovely little headmaster would simply shy away from interacting with him. Far from it, actually.
