Slowly Trying to build my Lego Movie Welcome Home Au! I am probably going to make it easier on myself and keep them as puppets. It's The Puppet Movie with the Plot of The Lego Movie!

We are going to be using both the first and second movie for this au.
The Characters for this are as followed;
Y/N or Neighbor - Wildstyle
Eddie - Benny (just ended up being the case)
The Question Answerer - The Man Upstairs
(The Kids are still being decided)
WaLLy - Rex (I had to! I had to take this opportunity!)
The other characters are free to be made into Ocs if you so choose

There are some issues I have noticed with these choices that follow the second movie
1. Bad Cop, Good Cop, Lord Business, and Vitruvius do not return for most of the Second movie
2. If they are puppets, what are we going to do for the scenes where the characters are pulled apart and put back together?
But, I do have an idea on how to fix these two issues.
1. Imma included the missing characters, even if they are missing from the whole movie
2. Instead of them being lego pieces, they are pieces that are stitched together with a string that can be loosened and tightened. That, or just forget that part of the movies. (which I don't wanna do)
So yeah, that's my Welcome Home Lego Movie Au Idea! Let me know what additions can make this better because I'm always looking for ideas!
