it’s so funny that people genuinely think angel getting cursed with a soul is his redemption. in what world is redemption achieved when a character doesn’t CHOOSE to be better. angel getting his soul thrust upon him is not something he chose because he felt remorseful, it’s a punishment from his victims. and afterward, angel is more focused on how painful it is to have a soul than on his actual crimes.
