One of the things I’ve been working on this past semester, recorded 5/1/2020.

John Stevens (b.1951) is an American composer, arranger, and tubist. He is the professor of Tuba and Euphonium at the University of Wisconsin Madison and a member of the Wisconsin Brass Quintet. Stevens has gained international recognition for his brass compositions, many of which have become part of the standard repertoire. Soliloquies was written for Demondrae Thurman and was premiered in October 2000, and has since become a staple within the euphonium repertoire.
