By now I think everyone in the community has seen The Path by @Denim2_mori. It’s such a nostalgic throwback to the old AC paths that I wanted to use it immediately on my new island. However, I’ve also fallen in love with the color of the dark dirt in NH, so I merged the two, and recreated the path in a deeper, warmer color. Full credit to Denim2_mori for creating the original path!

I then realized I like having leaves or stones and other debris on my paths, and set out to create more options for each slot. 

You can mix and match, or stick with a set. 

I then added even more options, like a narrow single-tile path, an overgrown center path, and little spots where the path looks like it’s peeking through the grass. 

Basically you need 9 slots for the full path set, just like the original, and then as many more as you want for options and/or details. 

A small text for signs that looks great! (This can be used on clothing as well!)

Other Helpful Tips:

In order to see villagers on mystery islands, you need to have a villager plot already set up on your island for them to move to. Or else they won’t show up on mystery islands. 

 Once you unlock terraforming, you’re able to place sand squares on the grass to plant beach trees (Coconuts and lets hope Bananas) on top! 

 ALL Balloons stop spawning after achieving 300 ‘pops.’ (x)

 To get the most out items of rocks, dig holes behind your player so they have nothing to bounce into and you have time for an extra hit with your shovel, giving a total of eight max items.
