We are delighted to announce the 6th Touhou Game Jam, where like our previous Jams, participants create Touhou Fan-Games within 72 hours on a mystery theme to be announced when the Jam starts, Feburary 4th-7th. Enjoy the new year with our belated game development tradition.

We are elated to announce our fifth biannual jam. Touhou Jam 5, in which our participants will strive to create a Touhou fan-game within 72 hours on a theme that will be announced when the Jam commences, January 16th-19th. We hope to welcome you all to the new year 

Join us for a rather impromptu celebration of 9/9/19- As a community we’re hosting yet another jam, this time far more casual and unranked, for the World’s strongest fairy! Event runs from 9/1 to 9/9.

A final thanks to those who came out to participate, both directly in the Jam, and also the community who voted and played the games we created. Our next Jam will be sometime around January. But until then, you can find us on Our Discord Server, which most of the year is dedicated to making Touhou fan games and general Touhou community efforts.

This Jam’s Theme is Pride / Identity in honor of pride month! Starting on the 20th, Jammers will have 72 hours to make and submit their games. Naturally, since this is a unique/eventful theme, we have a few things mention;

- You are not required to make an LGBT+ related game (Hence, “Identity” as an alternative theme), but anyone interested is encouraged to.

- Please respect people who do follow the theme and what they decide to make

- Refrain from drama about the theme. This was a decision made by the jam team, and our way of celebrating the diverse Touhou community.

- Your game is more than welcome to respectfully explore personal or uncomfortable subjects if you would like to share your voice on them, but be aware we are not allowing games that support bigotry or actively disrespect the theme of the jam.

- Be Fabulous.

Now on your local Tumblr, it's the Touhou Fan Game Jam! The rules? Simple! Participants get 72 hours to make a game from scratch, following a theme. Make anything you'd like using any tools and work with as many people as you'd like. 

We're hosting our fourth jam this weekend, June 20-23! For those interested, sign up on our jam page. If you need to find a team, check out our Discord server. We've got plenty of people still scrambling to find teammates.
