What is a cube?

A cube is a casual Magic: The Gathering format in which eight players draft 360 hand-picked and curated cards. Because the cards of a cube live inside the cube, it is possible to make entirely custom cubes. Some good examples are the Star Wars Cube and the RoboRosewater cube. Being this the Internet and the first rule of the Internet being the omnipresence of Touhou derivatives (although declined in recent years), I've decided to make a Touhou cube.

How does your cube work?

I still need to decide whether it will be a singleton set (360 cards exactly) or use duplicates at lower rarities. But, the general design is as follows: there are five Planeswalkers to represent the five most prevalent playable characters in the series (Reimu, Marisa, Sakuya, Youmu, and Sanae). Each of these Planeswalkers has associated design "slots" for them, that are filled by stuff like EX Boss cards, Stage 6 Boss cards, Legendary Lands, Spell Cards, etc. Then, once I have finished designing those five factions, I will turn to characters that lie outside those factions to flesh out the set.
