時を失った人々はその「時の人」と関係することによって失った時を取り戻そうとする。まあでもそんな「時の人」と直接交流することはなかなか難しい。だから大抵はその「時の人」を語ることによって「時の人」つまりは「時そのもの」との関係を構築し保とうとする。熱狂的な崇拝と際限のない憎悪。
その擬似的な時間の集約された存在、それがいわゆる「時の人」だろう。
テレビとか新聞とかネットとかいわゆるメディアというものは「擬似的な時間」をばら撒く。そこに時を失った人間たちが群がってその「擬似的な時間」を貪り喰う。「擬似的な時間」言い換えるなら「擬似的な時代」「擬似的な歴史」「擬似的な今この時」何故人々は流行を追うのか。そこに彼彼女に失われた「時の味、香り」がするから。
