These Days: 32

I can’t remember what 1J318 means! I wish I could. And I wish I could say that’s there’s been poetry the way I thought there always would be. There hasn’t been, but maybe I can make my way back to it.

I haven’t posted here in at least 10 years. I graduated from college 10 years ago. Since then I’ve had 4 jobs that all make up a career. I lived through a massive breakup, dragged it out for 5 years. I lived through a global pandemic; we’re still living through it. I traveled, sometimes alone. I ran two marathons. I moved out on my own, made a home where I feel safe. I rescued a dog. I made mistakes. I embarrassed myself. I hurt a few people, I was there for a lot more though, I think. I’m looking forward to the next 10–praying there will be at least 10 after that. Anyway, These Days: 32.
