En el 2011, el matador Mexicano Arturo Saldívar se presento en Valencia, gracias al apoyo de José Tomás. Esa tarde Saldívar le corto una oreja a cada uno de sus toros. Desde la reaparición de José Tomás ningún torero que lo acompañase en el cartel, ha estado por encima de el, excepto Saldívar. En espera que tome vuelo, se le reconozca como el mejor matador de México hoy les dejamos estas imágenes de aquella tarde histórica.
