Ironmaster (1983)
Following the first “Conan” movie, there were a ton of cheap rip-offs … some having a few merits buried deep. One of these is 1983′s “Ironmaster”. Don’t get me wrong … the movie is a total mess, but the lead actor is pretty hot … not to mention he runs around in a loincloth that would make Tarzan blush. :)
Sam Pasco plays Ela, a noble warrior in a tribe who discovers how to make the first weapons from iron (thanks to a handy volcano). Sam made the top 10 in the 1983 & 1984 Mr. America competitions. There’s a photo of him sans wig at the bottom of the post.
This will be the 1st of 2 posts from Ironmaster. There’s still some good clips of Sam to mine from this gem!
