top surgery recovery

there’s not a huge amount to say to be honest. Haven’t noticed any major changes since 18 months. so here’s some close ups of scars / nips under natural light 

 i dont know how well it comes through i tried to take the photos as best i could but there is still a reasonable amount of red pigmentation on the scars. like i’v said previously it fluctuates with temperature and activity level. that’s something that i think will continue to fade over time. 

i dont do scar treatment anymore and havent for a long time. I did have hard areas on my scars that have flattened and softened thanks to scar care. I also dont go out in the sun without protection on the scars atm it’s zinc cream which isnt super effective in water but i’m looking around for other options. may have a go at just letting them be in the sun this summer (6 months) but we’ll see when it comes. 

I still shave my chest i dont love having a lot of body hair atm when it’s just kind of gross and not at a substantial level so it’s unclear how much of my scars they cover. 

work outs have kind of stopped because uni is destroying me atm so not a lot of progress on the muscle front .. but even though i could pick apart these photos and point out all the things i dont like it’s crazy how far i’ve come in the last two years. both physically and mentally. 

 i’m proud of how much ive improved over the last 2 years. I’m not where I want to be but im not where I was and i’m so much happier and more comfortable . im feeling very grateful
