hello, this is chen. are you doing well these days where there is a big daily temperature gap? the hot weather has passed and it’s already autumn. the reason i’m writing a letter today like this is because i want to greet and share the news of my enlistment scheduled on october 26th even in a form of writing. i will come back after finishing my duty with good health both in terms of mind and body so that i can greet you with a more grown side of me during the period of military service. so you too, in the meantime, i hope that you stay as beautiful and healthy as you are now. thank you always and i love you ♡

last month, it was confirmed that sm entertainment and the seoul philharmonic orchestra had signed a partnership / business agreement to collaborate in joint projects with one another in the future. for this first project, the philharmonic will be recording orchestral versions of songs that had been released by artists signed to the label. this will mark the first time that the philharmonic has recorded k-pop songs, and the launch of a classical music label within sm entertainment named sm classic, where sm hopes to help give a more solid base for album release and concert performances for domestic classical musicians. today, it was announced that two of the orchestral arrangements that will be released to kick off the project will be red velvet’s “red flavor” and jonghyun’s “end of a day”. though an official release date has not been confirmed for either, it is stated that the release of the orchestral version of “end of the day” will come after “red flavor”. upon release, a video for the version will be released onto the smtown station official youtube channel, as well on both domestic and international music platforms. the video above is a press release on the collaboration discussed on tv chosun news on june 12th in which a bit of the orchestral version can be heard.
