My intention was to rest this weekend….. then i remembered that maybe in two weeks “Nier: Automata” will be available for PC… and if my potatoe PC can run it, probably you won’t see me for a few days, so…… 

Since @scoutssfm uploaded the Yuffie model on SFMLab, i’ve been wanting to use her. She’s my favourite femenine character from Final Fantasy VII, being Red XIII my favourite male character (ok, i’m a huge fanboy of Sephiroth, but Red XIII and Yuffie are always on my team :3).

Well, if you know me and my perverted mind, i guess you know what i had in mind for the Yuffie model… lol

Of course, and unfortunately, there is no Red XIII model for SFM, not even MMD. Thanks to the pathetic experience i got porting models, i thought about editing the textures of the Fennec Fox ported some time ago + using my crappy photoshop skills and….. ok, from certain angles i think it looks decent enough, what do you think?  :3

Exactly like happened with the first Ramesses II animation, i think i nailed the pose and lighting. Since i know for sure i’m going to ruin it with the animation, i rather post a picture of it because touching anything else, because i have to admit that the Fennec Fox’s front legs are terrible to animate and veeeery buggy. I’m going to ruin it, so at least let me show you the initial idea before i fuck it up  :D

Here is the animation and, surprisingly, i didn’t screw it THAT bad *phew*

I love this Yuffie model, she’s soooo damn cute… ^^. It’s a very good model for posing, and the quality is really good.

Regarding Red XIII… well… It’s a modified version of the Fennec Fox ported from MMD to SFM sometime ago. I tried my best to make it look like Red XII. He’s… bad, like… really bad. His fronts legs are truly a nightmare to pose/animate, so i’m sorry for not showing more angles of this scene. Literally everything is being animated taking in mind the position of the camera. From any different angle it looks completely broken (but i hope at least it looks ok from this point of view :3).

Precisely because this issue, and since i didn’t want to do a “1 second loop” for my favourite couple from FFVII, i tried to do some variations of that loop, so here you have a “13 seconds loop”, which is still pretty basic, but… hey, better 13 than 1 second lol

I also like the lighting of the scene. I tried to replicate the green fog/mist/whatever it is from Midgar. I think it looks close enough (considering how much i suck with lights…)
