look at what we’ve done. this tragedy isn’t in the movies. our lungs and liver are soiled, mine more than yours. we drank all your dad’s scotch, even mixed it with vodka. you do these things as a kid. you don’t fall in love like we did as a kid. i love you. i hate you. i don’t understand. from the outside no one can. you love to hate me. you hate to love me. what a fragile game to play. i never asked to play it, neither did you. i never asked to love you. i never asked to stumble upon you. i held myself back in school. who knew you’d be the thing that most destroyed me and most enhanced me? i never thought i’d be engulfed by another soul who imprinted onto and into me. my being can no longer be separated. i’m taking this to the grave with me. why so young? why couldn’t this have waited? you found yourself roaming around in my heart, crawled around and made a home of it. i know you didnt mean to settle immortally. neither did i. look at what we’ve done to each other. we would joke and cackle about the world doing everything she could to break us apart, to make us insane. we laughed and laughed at this. look at what came for us. here we are, far away from what was, broken into pieces that no one can comprehend, pieces that once were humble and sure. you invaded me and i will never know how to love anyone as much as i love you. this once was beautiful to me. now it is damning.
