i remember when Instagram mostly banned me from my account for an entire year after posting about police brutality and its' links to white supremacy and institutionalized violence -it was during the height of the BLM movement after George Floyd was murdered. i remember calling out ex-co-workers at the time and people on social media i was mutuals with at the time for saying 'but it's not all cops, some are good,' and my response to that, and will always be: policing systems do MORE harm than good in communities. cops get little to zero training and are allowed to bear arms and have a licences to maim, injure, and kill people (most of whom, are NOT threats). and it's beyond unacceptable. the amount of funding these fucking systems get too when it can be allocated to programs that ACTUALLY do good.

She has navigated the heartbreaking loss of her beloved husband, the tragic passing of her mother and the immense challenge of caring for her son, who grapples with intellectual disabilities.

Angela's journey is not solitary; she is also tackling the challenge of becoming the primary caregiver for her brother, who suffered a debilitating stroke that left him with diminishing function and mobility and also stranded in England, desperate to come home to Ireland.

Our goal is to reunite Angela with her brother, who has been separated from her by distance since his stroke. Your generosity will enable us to bring him home where he can receive the care, support, and love of his family.

Both Angela's brother and her son require special accommodations. We are committed to renovating their facilities to meet their unique needs, including making the space wheelchair-accessible and comfortable for their medical requirements. Our aim is to create a tranquil and welcoming environment where they can flourish.
