Straight men surprise me with the range of weird they can be in the most niche of ways.

Other times you’re just too emotionally exhausted and start crying big fat salty tears but not enough to soak your face.

Some times you can feel the emotions trickle through your nervous system and you’re grateful to be feeling

And you’re on the bed confused absent and your heart just feels like lead in you chest and you’re so so tired.

You have to record something but your voice is artificial. You tell your self that you’ll try tomorrow because you’ll only tire yourself out and have to redo it anyway.

When will I hear back from that job. I can’t believe I’m missing my best friends birthday. My veins feel like they did when I was 14 and I wanted to feel completely drained of myself. Should I have a plan but I shouldn’t because once you plant that seed the temptation will always be there. I’m young why am I not enjoying myself. Why am I not allowed to feel safe. Why can’t I go on a vacation. Why can’t my family be reliable. Why am I alone

What am I doing wrong

He was never carefree. Like ever. Every good day he had, he’s been treating as temporary like he doubts he’d get another one. Counting down till something goes wrong. Every interaction with another person is detailed with analysis of how he is interpreting their feelings and actions.

His impulses stem directly from feelings of injustice, either to himself or for others. He does things irrationally because he feels there isn’t a better choice in his situation than throwing himself in. Boy really hits the “I guess we’ll see if I die” button every time. It’s kinda concerning bc of how suicidal it is.

So no I don’t really see these headcanons of Percy embarking on shenanigan’s with Leo because most of the stupid shit he’s done has been with Annabeth, and the stuff he’s done on his own have been to sacrifice himself or help another person out.

I don’t see him encouraging it either. Especially when it comes to Estelle in the future. No way is he going to let her do half of the stuff he did bc in his head he was really ready to die when he did those things.

This is probably why he is so attached to Annabeth. He loves her rebellious side which is fueled by her pride and confidence, but at the same time is so close to her bc of the amount of times he’s had to save her from herself.

Their flaws are almost foils. His unwavering loyalty stemming from his own worthlessness coupled with her pride that drives her to prove her worth.
