hopefully not too niche of a comparison but unfortunately i think lestat and hws france would be obsessed with each other. that or they would battle for dominance.

queen of the damned has a lot of the same storytelling mechanisms i really like about good omens—the converging narratives all drawing together, the Lore that some characters know and others remain blissfully unaware of or are caught up in, the Incoming Doom that seems inescapable but will be thwarted by our protagonists… and of course the Ancient Gay People

An ancient vampire spends centuries fighting against a family of vampire hunters. In the 21st century he notices that he's been fighting the same hunter for nearly 50 years with no sign of any kids. Out of curiosity he asks and the hunter responds "Kid chose College. It's only me now."
