In case anybody was wondering (Negative sad-sack bullshit warning) I stopped posting around my birthday in April, basically because I'm fucking depressed and it doesn't make a difference if I'm on this site or not. I don't really post anywhere except Instagram right now. Obviously this isn't really a normal social media site it's mostly just reblogging memes and shit from each other, but it's definitely social too and...it just kinda temporarily makes me feel like I have like a bunch of internet friends, except my anxiety keeps me from even talking to people. So it makes me feel a little less lonely for a bit, but then way worse when I really think about it. Spending so much time here pretending I'm being social when I know I'm really not, seeing people I like talking to each other without knowing how to do it too, and getting all fucking bummed out and embarrassed because of stupid shit like not getting notes on my selfies is not what I need to be doing. And I've been doing for like 8 or 9 years. I still read sometimes and maybe I'll be back soon. I don't know. This all sounds awfully dramatic and I know nobody asked but there it is anyway.

Is it possible to be too depressed to tumbl?
