The undisputed absolute BEST. Just around Black Friday, I noticed that my favourite headphones were on sale! I’ve sat in a few radio studios over the years, and if they were a bit fancy, they always had a few pairs of @beyerdynamic DT 770 Pros in. The best pair of closed-back studio standard monitors, and also dead comfy with the velvet muffs. I’ve wanted a pair since I first saw @chrismoylesofficial wearing them when they first started web streaming on Radio 1 back in 2008 or 9. It’s the end of the road for this machine! We’ve been through A LOT. I bought this machine back in 2007-8 and it was the first computer I’ve ever bought. It’s taught me so much about computers and my profession in graphic design! I find it a bit hard parting with something I’ve had for so long, something so useful and something that has never ever let me down. It still works well and runs Windows 10, but the HDD is getting pretty slow. The most beautiful computer I have ever bought never needs a filter. I’VE FIXED HER UP! SSD fitted (on the rear through the 3.0) and it’s lightning fast once again- and STILL renders faster than my 2017 MacBook Pro… The ultimate Designer’s tools, why would you go for anything else? buuuut NOT @tomsdesk... A little upgrade to the living room, last week I bought a #Besta TV unit from @ikeauk! The old unit was 150cm, but I think the 55” TV suited a bit bigger of a stand... so this new one is 180cm and I got the legs from Amazon 🎊 Love the minimal feel of it, and how versatile the new unit is! IKEA consistently doing a great job of their furniture, here- and thinking out of the box. Big fan of this #QLED range from @samsunguk and those narrow bezels 😍 It’s a Q60T, if you’re wondering! It gives you an absolutely stunning picture when watching in 4K HDR with thanks to its HDR10+ and Dual LED. The new Tizen OS looks so much sleeker in the dark blue compared to the last white version, too. Happy Monday! 🆕 So, I got this idea from @amazonuk’s Echo platform, because it feels that they have so much more of a range for Alexa than Google do for the Assistant at the minute. The #NestAudio is really great and offers a lot of bass, but I really like the deeper low-end that you get from a subwoofer. I was looking through Amazon and saw they had an ‘Echo Sub’ for Alexa, which gave me the idea for this. I bought a @cambridgeaudio X201 200 watt subwoofer and wired my old Chromecast Audio into it! The Chromecast integrates with Google Home and you can add it in as a speaker group. My living area is quite large and sounds better when the audio is all around it and the sub works brilliantly to fill the room with sound and range! The X201 looks the part as well. It’s ridiculously small and fits ANYWHERE!
