Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ā¾~ āYeah. Theyāll back off if ya throw a mean few punches atĀ āem,ā Or swings of a Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā sword, since it seemed like they were this guyās weapon of choice, "But they still Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā likeĀ to swarm, yāknow? Best not to letĀ āem catch ya by surprise, āspecially in Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā the maze.ā
He grinned when the other man accepted his proposal to travel together. Nice, a new companion! Someone else might have been suspicious, but Tytree didnāt bother too much with that kind of mistrust. If a guy was being open and friendly, he took it at face value, preferring to see the good in others rather than the bad (when good was to be found, anyways).Ā Ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āSounds good to me! Iām Tytree, by the way. Tytree Crowe.ā He offered his gloved Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā hand for shaking.Ā āAnd youāre?ā
Tytreeāitās not a name heās heard before, but if this entire land is one he isnāt familiar with, then itās not a big surprise that the names would seem different, as well. Itās almost a relief; to be able to casually talk with someone this way. No expectations, no pressureātoo much of his life has become life and death, lately, and part of him misses those days when he could stroll about the Fabre estate and chat with the other servants on equal footing. Even if in that scenario he was a bit of an exception ( the āfavoredā servant of their young master ) it was nothing like his life now.
Maybe he wonāt rush back home. Surely, the others can carry on without him for a short time.
āGuy.ā He returns the greeting and the handshake with that old nickname that he doesnāt get to use nearly as often anymore. With the exception of Asch ( heās grateful for that ), everyone those days normally addresses him by that name given to him by his father. Itās such a contrast that Guy and Gailardia nearly feel like two different people to him. Today, heās perfectly content with just being Guy.
āDo you travel alone very often? Even for someone with combat experience, itās pretty dangerous to travel long distances alone, isnāt it?ā Itās just a guess, but considering the threat of being ganged up on was already mentioned, heās sure travelers prefer safety in numbers than solo operations.
āUnless youāre secretly that intimidating in a fight?ā He laughs with this suggestionā itās not absurd for someone mild-mannered to be exceptional in a battle, but he doesnāt want to come off as suspicious and the best way to accomplish that is to underestimate everyone.
