Now to the main part of this post: as someone who grew up being "pro-ship", i just want to say that it was the primary method through which i was groomed online. It is extremely dangerous to push this rhetoric (with terms made by and for pedophiles, might I add!) through a series made for children and teenagers in a fandom full of children and teenagers. I am not interested in arguing about this.

this applies to you if you call normal people antis, if you think lolicon, shotacon, and sis/brocon are "morally neutral", and/or if you cant see the difference between a respectful and nuanced depiction of abuse and fetishizing it.

i originally joined tumblr in like 2013 to make a vocaloid ask blog and was involved in that community about 5 years? and the ONLY reason i left despite the absolute shit show it was was because someone decided to post about how "disappointed" they were i had them blocked. and for some reason i had to then publicly address that i block blogs that were overly sexual despite them obviously depicting 14-16 year olds, blogs that glamorize pedophilic ships, and blogs that glamorize incest. well this made people really upset when i didnt back down on that, and a group of like. five of some of the more popular blogs decided it would be funny to send me "joke" porn of the aformentioned 14 year olds and the adults. which needless to say led me to deleting my ask blogs. it wasn't too much of a loss bc the culture in the community was a toxic cesspit if you couldnt tell, but IDK sometimes when ppl like that loser bramble-klawe come on my blog to taunt me with how awesome they think pedophiles are it really reminds me of that shit!
