Since the onset of the latest attack after the 7th of October, my family and I have been uprooted seven times, desperately seeking refuge from one corner of Gaza to another. From Gaza City to Khan Younis, and now in Rafah – the southernmost area of the Gaza Strip – we find ourselves grappling with dire circumstances, devoid of the most basic necessities like food, clean water, and warmth during these bitterly cold days. The situation grows increasingly critical with the relentless spread of diseases, scarcity of essential needs, and the constant threat of bombardment that surrounds us, leaving nowhere safe in Gaza – a harsh reality affirmed by the United Nations.”
