Which works, but people like Gegg and not what Gegg is, Charlie's coping mechanism.

Charlie wanted to be an egg because people like the eggs! Everybody loves the eggs, so why doesn't anybody love him?

Because he has no one, he had lost his daughter, killed his neice, and his wife is gone.

And no one will remember Flippa if he doesn't, if he doesn't repeat that he had a daughter everyone will forget and move on. Juanaflippa didn't have many friends, they kept her away from the other kids, and she had to see her bestfriend be murdered by her dad. When the funeral went on, honestly no one cared about the loss, they continued to laugh as if three kids weren't dead.

And Gegg was made to help cope with the greif, because there is no shoulder to cry on, no one understands because Quackity has moved on and once again, Mariana isn't here.

But Gegg is slowly being seperated from him, he has his own conciousness, It doesn't feel like they love him anymore, and Charlie is left loveless. Because people would jump in front of a bullet for Gegg, but they'd point the gun right at Charlie.

"Necesito amor."

Yes, maybe he does things purely because he wants attention, example the wedding objection, but I honestly believe he didn't want to ruin the wedding. He wanted the Roier and Cellbit to have a happy marriage without any secrets, because it was better to find out now than when they are married.

Charlie didn't know about Foolish and Mariana, but found about when they were already married. Which hurt, because now he knows that he cannot trust his wife when it comes to this. And hearing that he has been fudging other people?

"Your marriage isn't tested by the good times or by the hot sex, or by the beautiful nights at the beach. It's tested by people like me, that get up on the stands, object and cause problems. And the rough patches, the terrible nights. The terrible nights where even though you're bonded to this man forever, you realize just how alone you are and how hard it is to get away, and you might never break free ever again."

This is not that Charlie doesn't love Mariana, it's that he thinks Mariana doesn't love him. Because what kind of partner would just go and murder your kid twice, then just leave him alone to grieve?

He forgave Mariana a long time ago, he isn't mad or angry, he is just so utterly alone.

Which adds to this tragedy. When Charlie was aware of the things as Gegg, he knew no one liked him as an egg, but that didn't mean people hated his as Charlie.
