Amazing figure photography story! What's yours? -- @_ant_'s story: "Just a whisper. I hear it in my ghost." - Made my first venture incorporating practical effects within my compositions. Many thanks to my talented bro @the_whaler_ for giving me tips on achieving this atmosphere and be sure to follow him if you aren't already! Because of the strong backlight & mist that was used the laboratory background I built is hidden from view but I do intend to use it in a future shot. The stasis chamber was made from salvaging an old computer's CPU fan as the base and the the glass portion of a hanging pendant light which fit perfectly together. I then took a photo of the Motoko Kusanagi S.A.C. version figma and enlarged it to match scale with this 1/8 scale figure. After cutting it out and placing it inside the chamber I attached the existing wires from the CPU fan to the back of her neck and added a slew of different cables on the ground. Took a hundred or so shots while spraying atmosphere aerosol to find one with the mist dispersal I was looking for. It was definitely a fun process from concept to finish! 👊🏻
