An attempt at something simplistic and refreshing. The alternate prompt was 木漏れ日 (eh.. sunshine filtering through trees?? Whoa, this sounds so incredibly lame in English) for which i immediately pictured a Yūri reading under a tree w/ a Yūgo sound asleep next to him. But i’ve already worked with this idea twice, it’s time for something different, something i don’t usually do. Well, maybe said idea will eventually happen, possibly followed by a 4th w/ Yūya & Yūto, then i’ll have all the likely combinations covered LOL

This week’s prompt is actually free for all, but this came up on twitter, and i just had to do it. Since i’ve done something of a similar idea w/ the twins before, it’s onoken’s turn. I also got funeral, which is something quite different that i’d like to try after family service times.

In other words, we do NOT know whether Kaito is a personal acquaintance to Yūto or Kurosaki; NOT YET. Considering how good Yūto and Kurosaki are supposed to be, all three probably know one another’s duels and possibly have duelled in the past. Which is, I’m pretty sure, what Yūto’s the Kaito I know refers to in 101.

The shipping tag probably doesn’t belong, but just in case. Well, I feel bad it’s Yūto yet again, but it’s heartland! He has to be part of the picture. I had wanted to put all 4 of them into this uniform, but 2 was already more than I could handle in 60 minutes. Maybe next time.

Being the first prompt in April, this “flower” probably means sakura to a lot of people. Unfortunately for me though, sakura doesn’t bloom until May. It’s always been dandelion, my spring flower 💖

The immediate image i had was a romantic scene with the ferris wheel on the background. But on second thought, i don’t think Yūgo or Yūri has actually been to a theme park, which made me sad instantly. This would be Yūgo; Yūri would be looking down at the park from his glass windows. It’s now Yūya and Yūto's mission to bring Yūgo and Yūri to a theme park.

I am so sad there was no arc-v today. Almost didn’t get up to do this. But once the streak is broken, it’s harder to pick up the pace again. It proved a good idea after all. This was a very nice break from all the emo/sick manga I’ve been working on lately.

Well, #2 probably has to do with the fact that the friend who got me into ygo ships Reiji/Shun. They remind me of a Kaito/Ryoga story i liked. No, it has nothing to do with their brother/sister complex. I wonder what it would be like if someone wrote a story on how Kurosaki takes care of (and of course grows attached to) Reira when Reiji isn’t around w
