Nathan Explosion

He doesn't get clingy incredibly often, but that's largely because you two have a good system of parallel play already. If he's working on something, you're usually off to the side doing your own thing, and vice versa. It still crops up on occasion though, especially if the guys have been butting in on his time with you, or if you've been working especially hard.

When he gets clingy, he gets awkward. He tends to linger in doorways, and makes random comments just to be acknowledged. He'll meander up behind you while you're working, and points at whatever you're working on before asking the strangest questions -- he's a little intrusive, but he means well. He'll never directly ask for your attention, but loving Nathan means reading between the lines a little bit -- and how can you deny him when he's so clearly wanting?

This all changes when he's drunk though -- he's a very clingy, very touchy drunk. Subtlety goes out the window as he throws his arm around your shoulders, and leans a little bit of his weight into you.

Pickles the Drummer

He gets clingy at the most random of times; truly, you can never tell what's set him off. But when he decides he wants more attention, he's not very subtle about it. If he feels like he's being ignored, he'll get really pouty for a little bit before sending you an abundance of stupid videos. Yes, he expects you to physically like them, and respond to some of them. If you don't, he'll take it as an excuse to walk out and find you to ask if you've seen it, before flopping on top of you to watch shit together. Although to be fair, if you do respond to any of them, he'll still walk out to talk in-person, before doing the exact same thing. He thinks he's slick.

If you're actually working on something though, he gets really whiny. He'll wrap his arms around your middle, pressing his lips to your throat and scratching his beard against your sensitive skin -- and if you scold him? He just grins, and complains until you promise him you'll take a break -- with a time estimate. Be careful, he'll hold you to it, too. That'll at least stifle his complaints, but he can't help but make a random comment every now and again, just to hear your voice.

Sometimes you'll be sitting in a room together, and he'll just throw out a random "Babe?" just to hear you respond. He never actually wants anything, he just wants to hear your voice.

Skwisgaar Skwigelf

He denies the "clingy" allegations, but he's not fooling anybody. When you've jumped through all the hoops to get into his heart, he gets very attached, and with that comes a very, very clingy man. Like Nathan, he's content with parallel play a lot of the time, but he requires a little bit more interaction to feel sated. It usually comes in the form of asking for feedback on some riff he's working on, or in silly jokes and comments. And if you're too engrossed in your own task to respond, he gets pouty. His chords get more somber, eyes occasionally bouncing up to your form, before he eventually stops playing altogether. He'll put his guitar down, making a few stupid jokes to grab your attention… and if that doesn't work? He's making some random excuse to have you drive him somewhere -- most often to grab a snack, or to watch some movie.

He'll find any excuse to hug you from behind if you're standing around somewhere. It's like his default position -- his arms around your middle, resting his chin on top of your head or shoulder… doesn't matter if you're in public, or just hanging out in Mordhaus. He also tends to track your movements with his eyes whenever you get up, and if you leave the room, he's following in your footsteps not long after.

He's clingiest in the mornings -- he absolutely hates waking up, and he'll use his lanky limbs to his advantage to wrap himself around you and pull you back into him.

Toki Wartooth

Toki is simultaneously the most clingy and the most overt in his affections. If he's feeling lonely, you won't have a single doubt in your mind about it. He might start "subtle" -- and this word is used very lightly -- by just flat-out asking you to hang out with him, or by bringing you random things from around the home to look at. It's usually something he's been working on, but sometimes its just some random thing from around Mordhaus that he's made up a question about. Its less about the item, and more about redirecting your attention.

But if you still aren't paying enough attention to him? He'll just insert himself into your hold, physically. If you're working on something in bed, he's nudging your stuff to the side so he can wrap his arms around you and lay his head on your stomach. Sitting at your desk? Suddenly he's leaning over the back of your chair, and pressing his face into your neck. And oh my God, how he whines for your attention -- at this stage, it's best to indulge him, because otherwise, he's gonna start biting. Unfortunately he sees nothing wrong with this behavior, and it's very hard to actually curb.

This is all doubled when the boys are taking up your attention, and tripled if it's Skwisgaar. If you're talking to the latter too much, he'll just flat-out insert himself into the conversation, only to change it. Sorry, he's a bit of a brat. You love him, though.

William Murderface

He's so clingy, but he gets indignant if you even mention the word around him. Him? Clingy? Absolutely not -- if anything, you're the clingy one! Which is to say, he'll make it seem like you're just begging to hang out with him, and he's just obliging you by distracting you and putting himself in your arms. Real smooth.

He hovers around you, making random comments, asking random questions, telling you the most insane things about his day -- if you give him even a single scrap of attention, he'll take it as a good sign, and keep going. Your only options here are to either A.) Directly tell him to leave you alone, which results in a very sulky Murderface, or B.) To bring him into your arms, and tell him to hush. Again, if you take route B, he'll act like he's doing you a favor. You know what you signed up for when you started dating him.

Nathan Explosion

After a long show, he's content to just zone out for a bit while the rest of the band figures out their barhopping plans. He doesn't really give a fuck where they go so long as there's half-decent beer there, and after a couple hours of screaming himself hoarse, he's not gonna use his voice any more than he has to. Not until he's too drunk to care, at least.

He's so zoned out that he's caught completely off-guard when your head comes to rest against his shoulder. There's this brief to reel back, to grumble at whichever one of the guys is about to start dogging on him for some stupid shit he did on stage tonight, but then he remembers. You. You were sitting on that side, looking just as exhausted as he was. You. And that thought makes him still… and freeze.

He stiffens, trying to catch a glance at you as nonchalantly as possible -- equal parts trying not to wake you, and trying not to draw too much attention to himself. Your face is relaxed, your shoulders rising and falling slowly in time with your breathing, ever so subtly… and you're peaceful. Like you feel safe. Comfortable. It makes an uncomfortable, sickening, absolutely fucking un-metal and addicting feeling rise in his chest, more euphoric than any show could ever be, and he hates it, because he knows exactly what it is. What it means. And he doesn't know what exactly to do about it, but he knows he doesn't want to wake you yet. Should he put his arm around you? Shoulders? Waist? Should he just stay still?

He settles on putting his arm around your shoulder, adjusting you to more comfortably to rest against his chest, before shooting a glare towards the rest of the band in warning. Anyone who talks too loudly, or God forbid tries to wake you, is met with a mean look and a growl.

He knows he's going to be teased by the guys for this later, and while he does threaten them with a murmur of "not a fucking word," he knows it's not going to do much. Whatever.

When you wake up, he tries to act like nothing happened, but he's completely unable to look you in the eyes. Cutie.

Pickles the Drummer

To the surprise of no-one, Pickles loves a lazy day. Some good booze, good weed, a B-rate movie, and good vibes? That's the closest to heaven he's ever getting.

When your head comes to rest on his shoulder, it just feels natural to him. Honestly, he's surprised you guys haven't done this before. Seriously, have you been taking it easy on him? He's a krillionaire dude, you can smoke more if you want.

He wraps his arm around your shoulder, pulling you into him to rest more comfortably, before continuing on with whatever he was doing. You fade pleasantly in and out of consciousness, slowly readjusting yourselves into laying down -- your head on his chest, legs tangled together. Casual. Natural. His clumsy hands trace little patterns into your skin as you nap, almost unthinkingly. Admires your features, once he loses interest in whatever shitty movie you've both settled on.

Nobody even thinks to try waking you -- why would they? The guys might try teasing him, but Pickles doesn't really give a fuck, and that lack of reaction bores them enough to drop the subject. He'll chatter with anyone who wants to talk with him, but if he notices you stirring, he'll run his hand down your spine and drop his voice a bit.

He teases you when you become more lucid, but he doesn't go to any lengths to disentangle himself from you at all. Needless to say, this becomes a very, very regular habit.

Skwisgaar Skwigelf

10 million dollars worth of speakers. 10 million dollars worth of speakers, and he still can't hear shit when watching movies with the guys. Now granted he's not too much better, but at least when he talks, its important. (It isn't, but when its just him, you don't mind. And maybe, just maybe, you've got enough of a soft spot for him to actually like his silly little comments and questions.) Movie time with the two of you is sacred, and he knows damn well that if any of the band catches you, they're going to insert themselves, and you'll be right back at square one. And so, you sneak your little movie nights. Its almost comical, the lengths that you two go through to keep your little secret, but it just makes it all the more fun.

You steal away in the late hours of the night to hole up in your room and watch all the movies you've had on your list. Good, bad, doesn't matter -- its always a good time. But when the day's run long, the minutes add up, and you can't help the fluttering of your eyelids as you go through one film after another. Over the years, the lines of the physical have blurred: Enough rebuffed advances has landed you a comfortable place in his life, and in quiet moments like these, a place by his side. Casual touches, pressed shoulder to shoulder, his warmth seeping into you… its not long before your eyes close one last time, so peaceful is the moment.

Its not until he turns to murmur some stupid comment to you that he realizes you've fallen asleep against him. But when he does? He's very, very glad you're asleep, and most importantly, alone. His heart races, face flushed as he forces his eyes back to the screen… and then back onto you.

All of his experience with flirting dies in an instant. I mean, nothing he's ever tried has ever worked on you, so it's not like it would help now… but fuck, what does he do? He doesn't get it, how easily you let yourself be vulnerable like this with him. It does weird things to his heart, things he'd really rather not address.

He tells himself its just the friendly thing to do when he wraps his arm around you, just to keep you from slipping. That its purely platonic to watch the blue light dance over your features, to turn the TV down a notch or two when he notices you stirring. He'll tease you when you wake up, but don't be fooled -- he'll be thinking about this for months.

Toki Wartooth

There's few things better than the high of a show gone right. Adrenaline coursing through his veins, making everything look all shiny and bright; the ringing in his ears, repeating back the wild chants of his fans; the memory of lingering heat, pyrotechnics rocketing off just feet away… it makes his body sing with a barely contained energy. He doesn't know how the rest of the guys can be so still after such a fun show -- he could go for another hour! Maybe even two!

His leg bounces up and down as he looks back and forth between the guys, throwing in his input on their first stop in tonight's bar crawl. His attention is everywhere at once, but as your head falls against his shoulder, it narrows entirely down to you. He stills, blinking owlishly, before looking down at you… and oh, he absolutely beams.

He has to bite his tongue so that his enamored cooing doesn't wake you. His heart melts at the sight, and he wills his body into a state of relative calm so you can rest easier. He'll liable to let a few hushed whispers escape about just how cute you are, but if anyone else says anything, he's shushing them violently. Don't wakes them!!

He rests his head atop your own, smiling the whole time. He has to resist the urge to start taking selfies with you while you nap against him… and unfortunately, his impulse control isn't all that good. He takes just about a million, all with cutesy cat filters on. And no, he will not delete them. Sorry!

William Murderface

When your head hits his shoulder, he goes stark still. His breath catches in his throat, hands fisting the material of his shorts as his palms begin to sweat. He's not used to being touched willingly at all, nevermind like this. What does he do? He's completely paralyzed, and he'll just sit completely still for however long it takes you to wake up. Or at least, he tries to. It's a very, very conscious battle to keep his leg from shaking.

He (tries to) act all suave when you wake up, like he's your irresistible beacon of safety, just the perfect wall to rest on. No need to thank him, he'll be here all week. Or well, month. Or, he, uh, you know. He lives here.

He half expects you to shoot him down, send him a look of disgust and tell him that you absolutely didn't mean to fall asleep on him… so if you subvert that expectation? Even just a simple thanks? He's bolting out of the room, because he's so fucking flustered, and he cannot let you see him like that.
