Some spoiling of the pets helped. Got our dog a squeeky bone and a dog-chocolate cannoli cookie made of something called cobe or something idk my internet is bugging out. Cats got catnip toys and they all loved them. Giraffe got into them soon as we got home. The kitten was somehow outside but thankfully he was located and he got to enjoy his toys too.

But anyway the errands ended on some grocery shopping. I was pretty fast about it too. But I was so hungry I made a point to put the vegan chicken in to cook while I put the rest of the groceries away, which is pretty normal for me I guess since I sometimes grab a microwave rice bowl.

Here's what I shared with some friends just a bit ago.

Ok I just get excited for these kinds of wins so I feel like sharing. Yesterday I go to the grocery store and get my favorite vegan chicken patties. I pause and lift a few of the bags because sometimes you can get a bag with an extra serving. They come with like 3 servings for $10 so an extra makes me pretty happy on it's own. I get home and I did get a 4th one. Score! But wait there's more. I spot that the spicy variety, which has 2 extra grams of protein but isn't my favorite, is on clearance for almost half the price. So I grab the 2 that were there but when I get to the counter they rang up at full price. Cashier took me at my word what the price was and fixed it. So 6 for about $11 ish that's almost like getting 2 extras in a pack. (edit: no wait, 3) And I'm feeling pretty good eating them. (Patties are Gardien Ultimate chicken. When I say these are good they're the closest I've gotten to a good vegan fried chicken without someone making it from scratch. I air fry these with no oil, if you fried them they'd be amazing, but I've microwaved them and even like that they're better than a lot of cheap chicken sandwiches.) OK I'm done.

So far I've had two chicken sandwiches, but I'll have to branch out soon. I had them with a green banana and some blueberries with soy milk. I read while I was having a hard time that to raise dopamine bananas can do a lot of heavy lifting. They have at least 3 benefits. So now I'm feeling pretty good.

Also helps that favorite podcast came out with a new episode. And I got to talk to friends playing ff. Man I wanna decorate a ff house, play pvp, and do the seasonal event on all my characters....
