It is normal that after 13 years of such an unjust corrupt system someone would support trump's intervention simply because it's seen as an escape. While i dislike the exceptionalism applied to venezuela's dictatorship, it is impossible to negate that it was bad.

As you said, many are happy with the idea that the dictatorship is over, unfortunately, that is not the case, chavismo as a system is still in place, the structure of the country is still there.
