wow i forgot i could make my own keyboard layout

like the microsoft uyghur one im using rn is like, bad. i mean im sure its got its own logic to it, sougou's one is like identical, but my latin-pilled brain cant stand how j=q and q=ch

and it doenst have the kashida. i can add kashida to it now!

it worked!!

i need to be less drastically avoidant of restarting my computer lol but it worked once i restarted my computer. i think it was initially caused by installing it while the old one is still installed, and then i installed and uninstalled them too many times shit started to happen

but now it works. i still have a bit of old muscle memory to unlearn lol but itll be way easier. for example etigenlik is no longer /gthGgnlhk but just /etigenlik

procrastination is setting up a complete workflow for markdown to epub but the book is only at 3 chapters. but i mean the good news is the total word count is 9k now (this includes future scenes i wrote that arent in any chapter yet
