sad exes plot as per usual. muse a was the reason for their relationship’s downfall; neglecting muse b, failing to communicate, etc, and throwing every second chance they were given down the drain. eventually, muse b had enough and finally called it quits. later, muse a bumps into muse b again for the first time after their breakup, only to find them with someone new. muse a is hurt over how quickly muse b has moved on, convinced that their breakup came out of nowhere, while muse b insists they gave them multiple chances to change their ways before deciding to leave. whether this causes muse a to see the error of their ways and attempt to make it up to muse b or if they continue in a toxic cycle is up to u

illicit affairs — don’t call me “baby”, look at this godforsaken mess that you made me

this could go a few different ways!! an average cheating plot where muse a and muse b are instantly attracted to one another, starting an intimate relationship before muse a reveals that they already have a significant other at home. despite this, the two continue hooking up in secret, but with each day that goes by, muse b becomes increasingly frustrated with muse a stringing them along. OR!!! a secret romance type plot. could be a forbidden love romeo/juliet scenario or something more simple like “hey, you’re my best friend’s sibling and i think we should keep this under wraps for now” or “we’re two celebs in love but we want to keep the media out of our business” but as more time passes, muse b keeps urging a reluctant muse a to let their relationship become public knowledge.

more exes! or just an old friendship if that floats your boat more. muse a broke up with muse b during a rough patch in their life (be it they were struggling with alcohol, drugs, etc) and the two lost contact. flash forward a few years and muse a is sober and on the straight and narrow, showing up at muse b’s doorstep to apologise for how they treated them. muse b could be in a new relationship, refuse to speak to muse a or hell maybe they’re more than willing to take them back idk it’s your decision guys

invisible string — isn’t it just so pretty to think all along there was some invisible string tying you to me?

soft and fluffy! could even be a soulmate kinda thing if you’re into that. muse a and muse b are strangers dealing with their own shit who constantly find themselves running into each other over and over again, be it at the grocery store, at the emergency room, in the street, at a party, etc. after the third or so time, they strike up a conversation because “hey, are you following me or something” and form the connection that was destined for them all along. maybe they even discover that they met before when they were young or were even just in the same room a few years ago without even knowing it. that’s fate babey
