Today I Found

I think he's an Eastern American toad, but I am not a bio-girlie, so have mercy on me there. Little guy was stuck between the rails of some traintracks and having trouble getting over again, so I moved him back to the wooded river area next to the tracks. It did get me thinking about the difficulty of smaller terrestrial animals like toads to cross railroads due to the height of the tracks. I don't have a good answer for that right now because I dont know enough about either railroads or toads, but I am just hoping if he was able to get in, he could find his way out eventually even if it took some time.

I have been starting to write up my theories on clover populations and the frequency of four leaf clovers along with possible genetic factors. Not my specialty, but I have a friend who is a paleobotonist, and he said it was a good idea. I still got alot of work to do, but It's just a fun little project I do.

Here I will share all the magical things I found as I bounce through life. I will try and post daily even if I stretch out a whole day of treasures into a few (not all days are as lucky as others). I have a knack for finding little weird things both common and rare, so I thought I would share!
