        An abrupt non-sequitor.  Perhaps that will set the trinket straight.  At least, he hopes so — after all, such people prey on desires untold, and while he may not care a whit for power or wealth, adventure he does crave.  But the Dwarves have given him that.  He is determined to remain content.

              He cannot think of a single word he               could ever say to  her, this stranger in his               homeland. Strange folk had been coming               around  as  of  late,  though  he  could  not               decide whether her  arrival was supposed               to be  shunned  or  praised.  He  could ask               her  to  leave  or  throw  a  feast  for  her ;;               though the latter seemed to be  f a r  more               desirable. So he’s just going to   l i n g e r               & debate for a few minutes.
