using your ask as a vehicle for my username origin story :)

In 2013 when I was like 8, I played the heck out of Minecraft: Pocket Edition. Being a kid, I thought random = funny, so when we were thinking of a world name, I was like, “toads are so random lets call it toad’s world haha”

At some point, my little brother deleted that world. I will never forgive him

Anyways, months later I was making my Java Minecraft account. For some reason I thought my username was the name of my first world. I wanted to call it toad’s world… but you can’t use special symbols, or spaces, so it came out to toadsworld. By the time I realized it was my username and NOT my world name, I had no idea how to change it, so everyone on servers started calling me Toad.

It stuck :)
