Request: Reader is curvy and always wears baggy clothes until she’s invited to a pool party and wears a tight swim suit and Peter is very surprised.
Fumbling with the edges of your shirt you make your way to Chemistry as you try to avoid anyone in the hallway. Chemistry was your least favorite class but your lab partner was Peter so he made it a lot better. Peter was one of your best friends and he made everything better. He could make your worst day into the best day with just a smile.
“Y/N!!” You hear Peter from across the classroom and walk right over.Â
“Peter!! Why are you yelling?” You laugh and he shrugs. You glance down at your baggy shirt and pull it closer to you. Having some extra curves made you a little self conscious and you only felt comfortable with bigger clothes. Your skinny jeans were the closest thing to tight clothes you would ever let yourself get.
“Did you hear about Liz’s pool party?” Peter asked.
“Yeah, are you going?” Peter nodded and started writing down notes as the teacher talked.Â
“I think I might go too. I’m still debating though.”
“You should go. I think it’ll be fun. I mean, you don’t have to go swimming if you don’t want.” Peter said and you smiled. He was so comforting and supportive.Â
“I know. Maybe I’ll go.”
“I’ll see you there then.” Peter replies and heads out of class as the bell rings. The end of the day was amazing because you could go home and just lay around in your room and do nothing. However, today you had to go home and get mentally prepared for the pool party tonight.Â
On your walk home you started regretting telling Peter you would be there. Maybe you should back out and tell him you weren’t feeling well. But you knew he would know you were lying. He knew you weren’t comfortable in social situations and he wouldn’t blame you but you felt bad anyways.
Walking into your room you pulled out the only swim suit you owned. You never went to pool parties so there was no need for you to own multiple suits. It was a one piece with see through sides that show off your body. It had a low cut that showed off your upper body. It didn’t make you super comfortable but, you knew you looked good and that’s all that mattered. Besides, you were hoping to just wear something over it all night and not go swimming.
It was getting closer to the time to leave and you could feel your heart rate rising. You automatically texted Peter to make sure he was still going.
you still going tonight right
you’re right idk why i asked
okay i’ll see you there
You grabbed your cover up and your purse before heading out the door. The ride to Liz’s house wasn’t long and that was the worst part. Seeing the outside of the house made your heart race more than it was already.Â
Walking into the backyard you see all of the skinny beautiful girls and feel your heart drop. You can see Peter across the yard and he looks absolutely wonderful. His muscles are bigger than you thought they were and you can’t help but stare. He catches your eyes as you walk towards him and smiles.
“Y/N! You’re here! I wasn’t sure if you were going to come.” Peter smiles at you and you can feel the butterflies.
“Do you wanna go swimming or are you going to just stand around.” He laughs and the nerves come back. He was going to see you in a swimsuit. Your biggest crush ever would see you in your most vulnerable state.
You nod and slip off the cover up. You stood there in just one layer of clothes in front of the hottest guy you ever met and you felt like crying. Turning around you jumped in the pool and Peter quickly followed. He swam toward you and smiled, looking down at you. Your heart wouldn’t stop beating as he leaned in. His lips met yours and you kissed back immediately.Â
“You look beautiful I just want you to know that.”
“Peter...” You whispered.
“No, listen. I know the way you look at yourself and I just want you to see what I see. You’re the most beautiful woman I know.” He leaned down and kissed you again.
“Peter. We’re in public.”
“You just make me so soft. I can’t help it.” You smiled and kissed him again. He made you soft too.Â
