There is just something phenomenally powerful about being raised in an industry where your adherence to a beauty standard determines your worth, having your company warp your image to fit this standard better, and having the bravery to stand up to your company who has had you under their thumb since you were a child and tell them "No, this is wrong, post the unedited version." all whilst recovering from the mental conditioning that skinniness and paleness are to be valued above anything else. I think the mental strength that takes is just outstanding.
