Off The Wall Era!Michael takes you around LA on his new moped for a little date!
♪ calls you the day before completely reeling bc he wants you to see his moped (he’s very proud of it)
♪ “you’ll love it, it doesn’t go that fast i promise.”
♪ he has bill drive him over to your apartment near La Cienega the day of bc he doesn’t venture out of the valley alone
♪ greets you with a tight hug and a tender kiss on the cheek as bill takes the moped off the trailer
♪ he reaches for a helmet he got just for you, insisting you have to wear it
♪ he struggles to turn the moped on but once it’s roaring, he’s giddy to get on it
♪ “buckle up, don’t want you falling off!”
♪ once he knows you’re ready, he’s off before bill could finish warning him
♪ michael’s laughing and hyping himself up while you’re clinging onto him tightly (you guys are going 30 mph)
♪ he’s sitting as close to the front of the moped while you’re squished behind him, your arms locked around his waist
♪ his hearts racing from the adrenaline of doing something fun and having you so close to him
♪ at the first red light, he looks back at you a bit to make sure you are okay
♪ “you’re okay back there? are you comfortable?”
♪ when he begins to accelerate after the light changes, your chest flattens against his back from the inertia and the jerky surge of the moped
♪ he bites onto his lip to focus on getting to tower records, ignoring the potholes he’s hitting on the way there
♪ once you two arrive, he helps you down and takes off your helmet
♪ “that wasn’t so bad, no?”
♪ you two spend close to two hours in there, skimming through all kinds of records
♪ he points to his favorite ones with a boyish smile
♪ “remember these! gee, haven’t played these since i was real little.”
♪ while the both of you are kneeling over a crate of vinyls, he’s watching you gently. he reaches out to brush a strand of hair off your face
♪ you try hiding your smile but he leans forward, catching your lips in a kiss
♪ “you get more beautiful each and every day, y/n.”
♪ after he says that, he has to look away from how nervous he got
♪ when you two decide to leave he asks if you’re hungry
♪ he chooses his favorite restaurant, the golden temple, saying the have the best enchiladas
♪ “honestly! you gotta try ‘em!”
♪ at the restaurant, he’s taken to a private seating area set up just for him
♪ he’s not even asked about what he wants, they tell him it’ll be ready in a couple of minutes
♪ michael hums softly under his breath, his fingers moving to yours on the table.
♪ “this feels nice you know, being with you… riding around. thank you.”
♪ he’s full of adoration and feels like he’s finally found a genuine connection after years of trying and failing
♪ when you respond back, full of love and care for him, he can’t resist kissing the back of your hand
that’s it for now bc im tired lol :p
this probably wouldn’t be able to happen realistically without him being recognized the whole time or the uncomfy and slow moped situation buuuuut i really wanted to write this out so he got a chance to go out and be a normal 21 yr old guy hanging out with his girl openly 🥺🤍 i couldn’t resist when i saw these pics! hope u guyssss enjoyed it!
