Americans have to understand that us latinos from latam, or those who can speak spanish hate the term "latinx" because it literally makes 0 sense in spanish prounciation, there's many more spanish friendly terms y'all can use. There's "latin@" which is used commonly in spanish, "latine(s)" which isn't AS used in spanish, but it at least makes sense to write it, "Latino" is also perfectly fine as the masculine in spanish can also be used for gender neutral. "Latin" is also completely fine.

So PLEASE, when over 90% of a population dislikes your term, maybe try and NOT use it when there's so many other alternatives to that specific word.

just a rant considering I've seen so many americans using this term as well as "no sabo" hispanics, while most of us latinos from latam absolutely despise this term and correct them relentlessly.
