I liked your sock idea so I stole it

I found the socks on ebay (brand is Feraricci) and did the print using infusible ink myself! I'm a Cricut bitch who's too cool for Live Love Laugh font. There are sheets of infusible ink that you can cut into whatever and then apply to fabric (MUST be polyester or a high % polyester blend and it's hard to find that in socks) using a heat press, and the ink sublimates from solid to gas and gets all up in them fibers. The tricky part is the heat. The ink needs a lot of heat (385 degrees) but stretchy fibers hate heat (which is why you should never dry synthetics on high heat) and it turns out that those heat protection teflon sheets also hate heat. Please enjoy this behind the scenes craft fail. I either needed to let everything cool between pressings OR it's because my heat press glitched and bounced from 380 to 425. I don't know if it actually heated itself up that much or it was just the display lying to me.
