I used these four photos on a black and white photo challenge on GuruShots. All were originally taken in color. Three were created using what is my typical process: shot with a Sony Nex 6 and a little post processing with either google photos or the iPad photo app. I'm a simple guy, I guess. The first one, though, was an exception. I was walking through Grand Place in Brussels and the buildings were lit in multiple colors for a pride event. I snapped a picture with my phone. It was uploaded to google photos where, without any prompting from me, the "google photo assistant" created a black and white version and added some effects. I guess it's nice, but I didn't really dig it - I think because it's not anything like what I saw. I thought it would be interesting to enter it in this the challenge and see how I would fare against google AI. Of course, the biggest vote getter was the google assistant one. Defeated by AI. I'm demoralized. : )
