I am so completely sane.

i was really enamored with her from basically the second she showed up. oh two phds in art history and statistics? im invested. and all the more surface things about her i really like-- her fashion sense is amazing and so is her hair, i like her ability to recite random facts from memory (nth digit of eulers number, the architectural origin of a random house, etc.). as an aside about the eulers number thing it INFINITELY annoys me that apparently no one on set knew how to pronounce "eulers" because house fucking mispronounces it lmfao but anyway. i honestly just really like her personality. i know so many people find her "annoying" but i genuinely find her really. like. fun. which is... well kind of needed in s7 lmfao.

but obviously theres more to her than that. i think a big reason it truly annoys me she's only in half a season of the show is because like... that character idea shouldve been Really Fucking Obvious. house is the "everybody lies" guy, it really took them until season 7 and olivia wilde being unavailable for them to come up with "person who doesnt lie"? even if it wasnt EXACTLY masters its always been weird to me that a character Like Her doesnt show up sooner.

like, i think im so attached to her because her character has a LOT that goes unexplored. they never truly tackle why she sees things so morally black and white. the entire progression of her life, basically, is So Insane. she just has such a surprisingly rich background for her little screen time and i honestly think it was a waste that she disappears as suddenly as she shows up. i think she couldve easily been a recurring for the rest of the show which wouldve been interesting. theres a Lot that goes unexplored about her dynamic with cuddy. she just... she has so much potential. and even besides that, her character As Is is really fascinating! her solve in a pox on our house is fucking excellent. i actually also really like her relationship with chase, as much as i dislike how chase is written for most of s7.
